Rob’s Discovery Podcast
Rob Handy started his long-term self-sufficiency experiment in 2011 when he founded his one-hectare forest garden homestead on the northern slopes of the Mendip Hills, in South West England. He talks about all things permaculture, with subjects ranging from ’perennial vegetables for the smaller garden’ to ’the benefits of balanced beekeeping. Plus tales of all his domestic animals; the honeybees, ducks, geese, and chickens of the garden. If you’d like to learn more about his life on the homestead then visit his YouTube channel also called ‘Rob’s Discovery’ where you’ll find a host of heartwarming videos in which he documents the process of creating the forest garden whilst discovering the bounty of nature within his plot and the surrounding countryside.
